It's the bike that helped win World War II, beat the Indians (motorcycles, not people), and delivered your groceries. The Harley Davidson 45" came in many different flavors and configurations. Whether it be the military (WLA) or the racer (WR) it served us well and helped define an era.
This site's inception was to document the build of my next 45, but hopefully will provide a bit of history and resources behind the legendary motorcycle and more importantly, the people that defined it.

Francis Clifford, better known as Cliff was the inspiration for the passion and appreciation many of us have for all things motorycle. He was a self reliant pioneer of motorcyling with an innate Yankee ingenuity rivaling many an engineer.
